Whimsy Mimsy has been cosplaying for over a decade and has no plans to stop anytime soon! A lover of all things sparkly and fluffy, she gravitates towards magical girl and idol cosplays from shows like Sailor Moon, Tokyo Mew Mew, and Love Live!

Her favorite thing about cosplay is how it allows her to stretch all of her creative muscles; she makes it a goal to learn at least one new skill with each build. Over the years she’s dabbled in sewing, 3D printing, foam work, wig making, resin casting, pneumatics, LEDs; whatever she can Google a tutorial of she’ll try! Her most recent obsessions have been embroidery and beadwork, but she is a firm believer in the importance of fundamentals and is always on the lookout for innovative ways to make her sewing crisper and neater!
