Lolita Tea Party

A Lolita Tea Party is just that -- a tea party where Lolitas gather to enjoy food and friends! These events give Lolita fashion enthusiasts a chance to socialize with each other while in the presence of several esteemed Fashion guests. Typically, Lolita Tea Parties are hosted by a specific brand to gather their fans all in one place, or make any special announcements. Some Lolita Tea Parties even have a fashion show during the tea!

What is a Lolita Tea Party?

See our description above! This year's theme and other items will be announced soon!

What is the dress code?

The Lolita Tea Party is a formal Lolita fashion event. This means that attendees will need to wear a full coordinate, in their desired style of dress. Ouji/Boystyle can also be worn, along with Elegant Gothic Aristocrat fashion. Character costumes and Cosplays are not allowed.

Why is there a dress code?

As many Lolita tea parties are often hosted by a specific brand, it is considered respectful in Lolita Fashion to wear items made by the brand hosting the event. This shows the designer your appreciation for their hard work! While Lolita tea parties hosted at conventions are a little different, the sentiment is still the same: we want our designers to see that their fans have gathered together to show them some love!

What will be served at the tea party?

The Lolita Tea Party is a banquet-style event where small desserts and light lunch fare will be served. If you’ve ever had high tea, this event has a similar experience. Of course, we can’t skip the most important menu item of the tea party: the tea! While we always aim to serve a variety of teas, we’ll also have cold water for those attendees that just aren’t a fan of tea. Sometimes, alcoholic beverages are also available for sale during the event, so if you’re interested (and 21 years old or older!) don’t forget to bring a valid ID!
